to many more anniversaries
Bright and Dark
Miles separate our hands, testing our passion.
Original kind of attention gives a steady pace of growing enchantment
no affirmation of love needed, one look into your eyes is enough.
Our story unfolds within a gaze.
strength, oceanic strides of love, security.
Waves of emotion flow against the heart;
you have strung your love through my strings of desire.
We have become bonded by experiences we can call our own.
Years of friendship, fell easily into love.
Simplistic people have yet to understand our secret treasure.
Our tracks are covered, our secret it safe
Few will recognize our intertwined roads.
Life deems acceptance that
my road,
and,
your road,
have wound and turned in mirrored images of one another.
Look at me blankly, tell me that you love me.
Don’t move your lips, leave confidence in your deep brown eyes.
We are stranded here together, drunk in truth.
I cozen my look in order to forever remember your eyes
I will hold our love for ransomed.

Home is within me.
As winter break came to a close I was forced to reflect on my previous semester and evaluate my life. It is easy to get caught up on minor details. Life is a gift that I need to make the most of everyday.
Casual steps in our progression of life offer new opportunities. In order to be aware and open to these moments, I must retouch my passion. Passion will be the supplier for fire in my faith for life.
Home is sweetly missed as I create a my definition of home this semester. My home is within me; home is not a place, person or thing. My evidence includes friends, family and achievements. All of the above components of my evidence are occurrences in which I have control. We will see if I can prove this theory to myself this semester.
